Overview
To achieve the benefits of dollar amount pre-encoding, processing deadlines must be met with minimal impact to your operator or operation. The MICR V Encoder combines speed and ease of use with a small footprint to achieve these goals. Pre-encoding the dollar amount allows you to maximize check processing savings.
In a single pass, the MICR V encodes, lists, updates totals, and optionally endorses each check. The optional endorser meets Regulation CC requirements for “Bank of First Deposit.”
Batch and Proof of Deposit software configurations help further streamline the MICR V’s operation. Your Maverick Representative can program each application “on-site” to accommodate custom requirements.
The MICR V Encoder provides an upgrade path to enable you to combine encoding, endorsing and imaging documents. The M-570 can be upgraded to the M-570h Hybrid System, allowing you to encode and capture digital images in a single pass.
Fast
The MICR V dollar amount encodes at a rate of
3,400 documents per hour.
Quiet
The MICR V uses unique technology to minimize
sound generated by the encoding process
Integrated Programmable Ink Jet Endorser
Accommodating a variety of formats, up to
20 programmable messages can be stored and
accessed through the keyboard.
Drop-In Ribbon Cartridge and “Maintenance Free” Hammer
Replacing the MICR V Ribbon Cartridge is
simple and fast. A unique “maintenance-free”
metal hammer eliminates the need to replace
the MICR print hammer with each new ribbon.
This new metal hammer has an average life of
65 million print characters (lasts for approximately
650 or more MICR ribbons).
