Overview

Coupled with the MICR V Encoder, the Autofeed Module will increase throughput and expand the processing window for deposit preparation and reconciliation. MICR encoding checks as a by-product of adding and processing check totals allows you to reduce your check processing fees and improve your cash position.

In a single pass, the MICR V encodes, lists, updates totals, and optionally endorses each check. The optional endorser meets Regulation CC requirements for "Bank if First Deposit."

Batch and C.S.S. (Cash Settlement System) software configurations help streamline the MICR V's operation. Maverick's C.S.S software streamlines the Deposit Reconciliation and Balancing process. All tendered media (Cash, Checks, Debit & Credit Cards, Gift Certificates, Coupons, etc.) are processed in one simple and cost efficient procedure.

The M-580 may be purchased as a stand-alone system or as a slave device (peripheral encoder). The M-580 C.S.S as a stand alone system typically interfaces to other devices, such as Currency Counters and other Money handling devices.

Autofeed Module The M-580 configuration features consistent document feeding, improving encoding productivity.

Fast
The MICR V dollar amount encodes at a rate of 3,400 documents per hour.

Quiet
The MICR V uses unique technology to minimize sound generated by the encoding process

Integrated Programmable Ink Jet Endorser
Accommodating a variety of formats, up to 20 programmable messages can be stored and accessed through the keyboard.

Snap-In Ribbon Cartridge and "Maintenace Free" Hammer
Replacing the MICR V Ribbon Cartridge is simple and fast. A unique "maintenance-free" metal hammer elimninates the need to replace the MICR print hammer with each new ribbon. This new metal hammer has an average life of 65 million print characters (approximately 650 or more MICR ribbons).
